Global Warming Rant [I had to... XD]

I love the little “The Way I See It” quotes on the Starbucks cups. This morning I had a particularly interesting one:

There you have it. Even if global warming isn’t actually happening (yes, I know… but some people believe that) what can be so bad about trying to do something for our environment?

We need this planet. It’s not like we can just leave and go somewhere else once we’ve wrecked it. Saving nature isn’t a matter of choice – it’s a matter of survival for humankind.

And in order for us to save our environment we ALL need to take action.

What one person does will affect everyone else as well. So if you really want to drive a hummer and fill landfills with waste that will take thousands of years to degenerate, go ahead. Just remember you’re going to hurt everyone else and undo a lot of work people who care more for the future of your race than you do have done not only for their benefit, but everyone else’s too - including yours.
